A New Era of Retail: Human-Centered AI is Coming to RANDEMRETAIL

Last week, the excitement in Manila was electric. We hosted our quarterly internal  Townhall, with our CEO Alan Moore and CTO Elie Maalouly, in attendance, to prepare for a milestone: the launch of the first version of our OMS AI, RANDEM-ED, to our clients in the coming weeks, ready for the BFCM and peak holiday season.

The townhall was a chance to dive deep into our ongoing vision for AI, not just as a buzzword but as an integral part of our tooling and product suites. For us, the path forward is clear: AI must serve a purpose. We believe in creating an AI that acts as a helper, empowering our team and our clients while being guided by strong governance, security, and process. This is why we’ve focused on humanizing our AI to ensure it aligns with our core ethics, vision, and way of doing business.

We are proud to introduce the character for our new AI function: RANDEM-ED. They are here to help our internal teams become more efficient and to help our customers and their customers get the support they need by making their jobs easier and more accessible.

As we gear up for the launch of our first version of RANDEM-ED, here is what you can expect:

• A Mascot with Personality: Get ready to meet a super cute, furry little mascot. More details on this will be coming soon!
  
  
• Empowering Our Retailers: The first version of RANDEM-ED is designed to help our retailers with their day-to-day tasks. This includes order management, order routing, and shipping changes (such as adjusting shipping types or addresses). RANDEM-ED will also provide valuable product and inventory analysis and recommendations, helping buyers and retailers gain better control over their inventory and sales performance.
  
  
• Internally, RANDEM-ED will assist our own RANDEMRETAIL team, helping them build and test new  features more efficiently.
