How to setup Users in BOPIS by RANDEMRETAIL

To enable the usability of the Control Panel we have a User Management module which allows you to create Users and give them access to the specific stores.

The module is broken up into 2 parts, the first is to create the user on a global level, the second is to apply a created user to the store or stores that you would like them to access.

STEP 1: Create User


First you need to create the User within the User Management section of the application. To begin, navigate into the BOPIS application and find "User Management" in the menu.

The steps to create a user on this page are:

  1. Click the "Create User" button - this will take you to a screen to where you can fill out information for the User

  2. In this screen you need to fill out the information related to the User. After filling this information click the "Save" button.

Once you've completed this the User has been created. If you need to change any of the information or update the password you can edit an existing user and update that information.

STEP 2: Apply the User to a specific store


Once you've created your user it is time to apply that user to the store where you would like to give the user access.

There are a few steps required to complete this:

  1. Navigate to the Stores page in the app
  2. Enter into the store that you want to give the user access to by clicking on the store name
  3. Click into the Store Managers Tab
  4. On this tab click Add
  5. In the popup select the User you've created from the dropdown and then click "Add Admin"
  6. Now when the user logs into the Control Panel they will see orders to the store they've just been added against.

This can be repeated to give users access to multiple stores control panel views. Once this is done there will be a dropdown in the top right on the Control Panel to select their store. To read more about the Control Panel click HERE.
